And as we wind on down the road

My reference to our usual meticulous planning in yesterday's blip was very much tongue in cheek. We go where the fancy takes us. We once set off to go to Germany and Poland but those countries were flooded so we consulted the weather charts and went to Denmark instead.
On the other hand it does help to have a map, which I had already bought and packed but forgotten about! If you don't have some clue what you're doing though , you can end up wasting some days of your precious holiday, not knowing there's somewhere better just round the corner. Today we have booked ourselves in at a campsite on the edge of the Picos de Europa, but now decided it's not very convenient so will probably only stay one night then go somewhere a bit better.

No rain today though and the scenery is spectacular.
