Growing and Growing and Overflowing....

The Roaring Lion Canyon Fire is rapidly spreading over ridges and has forced the evacuation of over 500 homes. It's currently monitored at 3500+ acres.  We went out last night to see the configuration, as did hundreds of other residents. The hill-top roads opposite the fire were chock-a-block with cars and trucks...some parked; some creeping along. Murmured condolences were heard as everyone talked quietly about who lives where down below. We heard several explosions as propane tanks blew up and flames leaped skyward. My pic in EXTRA shows the advancing flames as the lead trees explode in the night. A deadly fascination.

We could use some rain, please.
