Taste a courgette flower

Todays theme for Mono Monday is 'taste' and given that today we have had continuous rain since mid morning I thought I would blip one of the courgette flowers picked earlier in the day.  I have tasted a stuffed courgette flower before and I know you can eat them battered but have yet to cook them myself.  They do look lovely though.

The gardens really need this rain so its good, just hope it doesn't last too long.
