The Edge of the Wold

Grange in greys

The view over to Grange from the Arnside side of the Kent Estuary, as Gus and I turned for home this evening.  The cloud was thick and dark when we arrived on the shore, and was spitting rain onto us.  But as we did the woof trees and then the rabbit field it was beginning to clear again, bringing a little colour where before it had been monochrome.  The water was more still and reflecting than it has been for many nights.  Every evening is different.

Two blips in consecutive nights, that's the first time for a while.  Thanks for all the stars and hearts and comments for last night's.  I will catch up soon.
