Displacement activity

The washing machine decided to break down this morning, I've had it for eighteen years so its demise was not totally unexpected.  So I wrote out a list of all the things I really needed to do today, and then decided to photograph some orange gladioli which I have in a vase as you do.  The new machine is being delivered on Wednesday thank goodness.
