Summer

So behind on blips - I have had a bad hivey weekend which isn't a good excuse but has left me feeling decidedly under the weather.

Anyway, Smallest left with MrRoly this morning to spend a few days with Nanny. A big deal for all of us! The reason being that the older 3 are all booked into a week of sailing lessons in Mylor.

It wasn't too bad when we first arrived but by the time I walked to the cafe for a coffee, the rain had arrived. So much for August.

They all had a thoroughly enjoyable time and Eldest especially is pleased she will get some sort of certification at the end of it.

Home for soup to warm the sailors - as we finished a friend of The Boy who moved to Scotland last summer called - he was in Falmouth and wanted to meet up with The Boy in town, so off he headed.

After the Tesco man delivered, I dragged the girls into town to do various chores and Eldest ended up splashing her birthday money on a fancy schmancy sailing jacket!

Home again for a very late cooked breakfast 'tea' and an early night all round as winter seems to have arrived...
