Excessive heat equals severe thunderstorms in DC -- an almost daily event. Yesterday, a small historic town was essentially leveled by massive floods (6 inches of rain in less than two hours overwhelmed the infrastructure). The scene today was like a war zone...

btw, I got a call from my mom who saw yesterday blip and thought it was my daughter. It went something like: "omg, that is so awful! how can you let that happen? my grand-daughter is so naturally beautiful, how can she do that to her body, etc, etc." for about 5mns before I could interject and let her know the featured lady was in fact not her grand-daughter :)))
