The dining room

This is the little dining room where we have all our meals of mostly variants of dhal and rice. There are usually two or three others in the dining room coming from such places as Nigeria, Italy and the US. Today was our second day. We have had all the same treatments as yesterday and received a bag full of herbal medicines. During last night my land phone and airconditioner broke down and for one reason or another I got very little sleep. They were fixed in a flash of course. The rusty old Aircon was replaced by an identical one carried in by two really slight men. It must have weighed twice their combined weight. They did an excellent job. In the afternoon we located the tailor where we will test his ability with two of our least favourite pieces of material that we bought in Mumbai.
