Let's go fly a kite

Fabulous fun filled day today, started after breakfast with dropping my brother at Blackpool train station. We could see lots of people on rooftops which was off, Dad asked a cab driver and he told us they were waiting for demolition of three tower blocks that would change the skyline in a few minutes. We drive round the corner to see the blocks and decided to watch. I've seen loads of it on TV before but to actually be there is quite amazing. It was so quick it makes you think.

We then headed to the sea front for a walk along. We went in the arcades on North pier and had coffee in the cafe, was a lovely sunny morning too. Then we headed back to gramps house to pick him up. Then off to fair haven lake for lunch, followed by hiring a boat on the lake which was great and Jack had a drive. We went in the RSPB place where Jack made a badge and spent some holiday money. They had a fab arrivals board telling you what birds arriving and facts.
Then we went to the kite festival at St Anne's which was amazing, my blip doesn't do it justice and app won't let me add extra shots :(
It was lovely on the beach, so clean and sunny, met my cousins and baby Seb and Jack built him some sandcastles, had ice-creams and enjoyed it much.

We left the beach and headed back to gramps to collect our things then left about 6.30 to head home. We had a great journey back which was good.

Fabulous :)
