Nimmings cafe, Clent Hills

We flock like lemmings
At lunchtime to Nimmings
Where you can have all the trimmings;
You can have second innings
And everyone's winning
At lunchtime at Nimmings
Where restraint and slimming
Is not on the menu
But for two pounds and ten you
Can have tea and egg muffin
Or be happily stuffing
Your face with a cake or a cookie
When you're taking a lookie
At valleys and hills.
After walking or climbing
With a rest for some rhyming
Nimmings is open still -
So with perfect timing
Or when sunshine is dimming
And rain's in the offing
You can be scoffing
A scone and a coffee
Or a cake topped with toffee
In Nimmings great café
('Oh, mine's a latte')
Where thinnies and fatties
Order sarnies in doorsteps
And they've taken more steps
To tempt you with more
As you step in the door
At lunchtime at Nimmings
Where you can have all the trimmings
And look at the view
And rest
And say 'Phew!'
That was good.
