Rainy Day Scam

Muggy, gloomy day that ended with a downpour.

I've been a victim of a scam and feel a fool.

Vainity got the better of me and I ordered a "free" 14 day trial of face cream. All I  had to pay was £2.95 p&p.

What a mistake!

£92.90 debited from my bank account. No telephone number on the website or packaging, however HSBC found an 0800 number in the payment details on their system.

I've called the number. They say I will be refunded but having looked at other experiences on line, I doubt I shall get my money back.

You live and learn.
 
I shall stick to slapping on Lidl's own in future.

Other than that, a thoroughly enjoyable day at the Club.
