Pool coffee

I found it easy-ish to forget about overdue and looming deadlines, hanging out with friends and iced coffee by the pool. I lined my social calendar up to maximise limited time with the greatest people I know here (and those are several in number).

I've realised that iced coffees have the opposite effect than intended; the sweet milk sending me into a diabetic coma on more than one occasion on this trip. I always blamed the tropical heat for afternoon drowsiness but my lunchtime iced coffee with lashings of condensed milk was more than likely the culprit.
