Day 214 Memorial on Lepe Beach

On a walk along Lepe beach Sam and I came across this memorial to the Royal Dragoon Guards for their efforts in the D Day landings. It touches the heart that there is a new memorial amongst the broken concrete and weathered ironworks, which is all that is left of launch of the D Day landings.
