A Little More Progress

Today, I worked on cutting away the material that was not required and would be in the way, when I fitted the steel beam under the unsupported brickwork and into the supporting brickwork at each end.  Then when my granddaughter arrived, so that we could support the steelwork at both ends, I fitted the steelwork into position, as shown in this picture.  The steelwork on the other side of the wall still needs to be cut and moved into position, but the assembly is essentially now safe.
