I'm Ready for my Close Up

The rain cleared away overnight and the clouds were starting to break up this morning so I took myself off to the nature reserve for a much needed walk.

I did the river walk today as there was not much activity on the lakes and the wildflower meadows had been cut. There were lots of bees and butterflies about but this dragonfly kept flying alongside me and settling right in my eye line.........he was clearly desperate to get my attention and he performed several different poses for me, so I had to blip him, didn't I ;-))

The extra is not for the squeamish.........a damsel fly having his lunch........hope you're not eating and blipping at the same time ;-))
