Cares Gorge

Today was forecast to be cloudy but it has been scorching hot.  We walked down the Cares Gorge near our campsite.  It was the most amazingly dramatic walk I have ever been on.  Photos really don't do it justice and the high contrast made photography difficult.  It was great to look at though and a lovely walk.  Some of the vertical drops from the path were not comfortable for me.   You can see some walkers on the path in this picture.   We finished by dabbling our feet in a cold river.

We are moving on tomorrow but a slight problem is that we cannot find a campsite with space.  We are therefore heading off early in the hope we will find somewhere to stay.   It's the first time we have experienced any problems which is a bit surprising considering it's August.   As the weather is forecast to be wet tomorrow it's possible some spaces will occur.  Fingers crossed!

My extra is a shot through a waterfall that we walked under at one point.
