It's not quite Maputo's Avenida Karl Marx but Mao Tse Toung Boulevard in Phnom Penh is one of the city's main arteries and a good place to get snared when you're already running late to the airport and your tuk-tuk driver drives at a rare cautious glacial pace. Traffic here gets worse year on year with an increasing number of ludicrously sized vehicles milling around town. Completely unnecessary in a city which may be the flattest you ever visit.
