Earth- Wide Wednesday

This is a 5 acre plot of land that was forest on a main street near  our home.  I was saddened by the destruction and took a picture on Feb 8.  Since then as I drive by almost daily we have watched  bulldozers,  trucks and other machines  move the Georgia Red Clay Earth around.  I have wanted to stop and take  a blip, and Wide Wednesday was as good excuse as any.  This was taken from pretty much the same spot.  In the distance you can see how wooded our area  is, even with buildings nearby.  This horrible patch of earth can be seen from a distant hill.  Sad.
