Back home from 2 weeks away, empty fridge apart from a gift from Norway from son M . Brown sweet cheese- is it cheese? Can I cook with it?  
Made from cow and goat whey and boiled down to a caramelly brown mass.
Desperate for food I made it into cheese and potato pie - extra shows the brown stuff.  It did not melt like cheddar but tasted pretty good with onion and potato
