Baby Hedgehog

Last night we discovered two new born hedgehogs that had been abandoned by their mother. The first born had died but the younger one was still alive. With some tender care from my daughter we kept this one alive. After a day of feeding the baby hedgehog at work I decided it would be in safer hands if we handed it over to the Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Centre near Beith.

Lets hope this little one survives.
