Drift

A drift of new-made, sparkling, crystalline salt encroaches.  Another salt formation on the water table.  It's amazing how quickly these can spring up and how much they can change (even disappear) in 24 hours.  Some last weeks, though.  This one popped up overnight and is about 1" tall.
