Canberra University

Today, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with a friend from Wellington days, when we both attended Victoria University together, rowed in the same skiff together and I was her bridesmaid. She married the man who rescued her when we tipped the rowing skiff over, one training day! Canberra is a well set out city, park like with hundreds of trees. It was beautiful driving through the university grounds.

I had an almost compulsory visit to a camping & outdoor store, where the credit card got a hammering. Some extra supplies were needed for the Simpson Desert. We set out tomorrow.
