Durdle Door and Hardy's Cottage

Another lovely day to enjoy Dorset- we went to Hardy's Cottage first which now has an excellent information centre and cafe separate from it allowing you to wander through the woods before coming to the cottage itself which was really busy but still atmospheric. The gardens are now a feature of the displays and it really brought Hardy's early times to life.
Then we went on to have a picnic above Durdle Door which I haven't seen for years.
We walked down the steep path to the beach and had a blissful couple of hours in the sun.
I won't describe the pull back up the steps and path but we both realised we weren't as fit as we used to be!!
See extras if you have time!
