Parc du Château de Rambouillet

After a long day's drive, we stopped south-west of Paris close to Rambouillet. We relaxed in the late afternoon by walking in the grounds of the château. The château is a former royal residence and the park includes Marie Antoinette's dairy. It is now a summer residence for the president. The grounds and lakes are very extensive and beautiful in a formal French way.
