It's not everyday you meet a world champion.

And I've still not quite worked out what a world champion balloonist does to win the title, however I think avoid walled towns on hills does form part of the test.

A cycle to and from lunch, then swimming followed by a gastronomic market in Tournon. Z spotted this ballon (her fantastic picture) and we followed in the car. Mr world Champion and his 78 year old mother needed some help packing away the balloon. So we had to pack this into a large bag and then put it in a trailer. Lots of fun and unexpected excitement for a Friday evening. A big thank you to Z for suggesting we follow it and also to the patience of the ballon pilot for explaining how to pack away a ballon in multiple languages!
