Bronte Day

Spent the day in Bronte country with Sis, the highlight was most definitely a tour round The Parsonage at Howarth where the Bronte sisters and their family lived.
This a shot of one of Emily Bronte's poems in her own minuscule sized hand. Having seen the size of the gloves they wore, their hands must have been skeletal !
It was also quite an emotional trip, as my mum had always wanted to revisit Howarth, however the cobbled streets and steep inclines would have been too much for her :(. . Instead I'm sure she was there in spirit, she would have polished off sis and i's tartar sauce that came with our fish&chips in The Black Bull at lunch time :-)
