Students

This is a photo of the students I'd been editing for at my freelance job. They are part of News21, a 10-week summer fellowship at Arizona State University's Cronkite School of Journalism. I'm copy editing their articles.

It's fun. I don't do any hands-on editing at my job, so being down and dirty in copy again makes me happy. They're also really good. I was expecting some major rewriting and giving them a lot of instructions, but they did some good work. They also had a lot of eyes on the articles before I got to them, but overall the work is still good. This year's project is on voting.

I'll continue editing the project for a week or two. Today was the students' last day. I am really looking forward to this paycheck.
