Governor's Cup 2016

A fleet of 92 boats in 11 classes enjoyed a pleasant sail from Annapolis to St. Mary's City during the 43rd running of the St. Mary's College of Maryland Governor's Cup.
Sundog, a Sea Cart 30 skippered by St. Mary's College Director of Sailing Bill Ward, was first to finish the 70-nautical mile passage — crossing the line just after 4:32 a.m. on Saturday. Sundog was donated to St. Mary's College by Galesville resident and Annapolis Yacht Club member Paul Parks.
