What a scorcher

It was a boiling hot day so w didn't spend too much of it outside. We had an early trip to the library so Leo could pick up some books for the summer reading challenge. I actually managed to walk there and back which is the furthest I have managed yet - perhaps the foot is finally on the mend :)

Then we hid away in the shade for the hottest part of the day before heading out later for a quick trip to Wellington. We made a coffee stop there and Leo was amused by an old soccer annual they had there. He couldn't believe that the goalies didn't wear gloves or that all the boots for the teams were the same regulation black or black and white. Times have changed on the kit front!
