"This is Shandaya Whitetooth reporting from our Rio studio. The Serbian Rowing pair capsized at the regatta this morning, in similar circumstances to this Flea 8 from yesterday. Both rowers were saved.
Tragedy struck during the Flea long jump last night, let's cross over to Ted Donut, Ted, what can you tell us....?"
"Well Shandaya, details remain scratchy (did you see what I did there). It appears that Jamaican long jumper Robert "Rasta" Marley hit the take-off board at speed but incurred a penalty when his toe encountered what should have been plasticine, which gives an indication of a foul jump. In an effort to save money Rio IOC officials approved the use of Blu-Tack, 'allegedly.' Consequently when 'Rasta' hit the Blu-Tack he was trapped. The new technology roller, designed to smooth the mark went into operation resulting in Mr Marley being crushed into the soft material leaving just his dreadlocks visible. - Back to you in the studio Shandaya."
