Almost in trouble.......

.....My Sister came over from the mainland to meet us for lunch and afterwards we walked along the promenade at Gurnard and enjoyed watching the boats that were racing as part of Cowes Week. All of a sudden a lot of people were turning and exclaiming, this boat almost capsized, the sailors fought and fought and it was very, very close but in the end they managed to control the boat, the wind and the tide, and righted the boat. It was very exciting and dramatic to watch. Then the same thing happened to some other boats, (the wind just seemed to whip up at one point) and luckily they all survived. This boat ripped it's sail and there was another boat that snapped it's mast, and another broke the bar at the bottom of the sail.
