Rio Sunshine

The AOG have started and this is Suffolk's equivalent to Copacabana Beach, it's Dunwich Heath in 28ºC sunshine.

Our day started with a visit to Sutton Hoo the 1300 year old burial site of an Anglo Saxon king and his boat and treasures discovered just before WWII, the kings mask is in extra. Then on to Southwold which was a mistake as it was heaving made even worse by the tide being in. Quickly off to the beautiful Heath at Dunwich and a much quieter beach.

Our fish meal was so good last night we booked again for tonight to try more of the menu and by coincidence it is named in todays Times as one of the best unpretentious fish restaurants in UK. We also saw  the ISS go over as we left the eatery last night :-)
