Lyme Park.....

Mrs BM and I decided we would have a drive up to the North West and have a look around a few National Trust Houses, Dunham Massey and Lyme Park.
After an uneventful drive we went firstly to Dunham Massey and had a lovely walk around and a light lunch afterwards. There was quite a few folks around in fact a lot of folks around and the car park was full and we had to drive around a while before we found somewhere. The Silver ware that was here is something to behold, the room where it is housed was very well protected with Armoured glass with touch sensors, bump sensors and CCTV, the extimated worth of the silver was well over a million pounds, maybe two million.

After lunch we drove the 20 miles to Lyme Park and what a wonderful house this is too.
Once again a very busy property and I now know why a great house to visit, a great day out too.
