By the sea

There are plenty of small and big statues in the Helsinki area. They are not always visible, and sometimes not particularly interesting. They all share a common trait, though. They tend to represent human or symbolic creatures in harmony with the surrounding landscape. I believe this is a strong feature of Finnish culture.
