preparations

The first day of the holidays and this year we've been a bit more sensible about it. Usually, we time the holiday departure to be the day after I finish work, however this usually means that there's an almighty rush to get everything done before leaving. This year we've taken an extra day to catch up on jobs around the house and to pack before heading off.
