The ladybird gymnast Svetlana Spotsalova (sorry....) was today sent home in disgrace after failing a drugs test.

Svetlana protested her innocence, claiming she had been spiked by some burdock she had been  given.

Originally from Russia, the insect had arrived in the UK only recently and now faces an uncertain future.
