Alicante Day 1

After arriving at our splendid apartment late last night, it was a late start for a rather fine breakfast. Then MrRoly and I headed back to the airport to collect our hire car, taking the smaller 2, before going to find Carrefour to stock up on stuff.

The rest of the afternoon was spent either in or by the pool until we decided to head into Alicante for tea. MrRoly dropped me and the younger 2 off so we explored while awaiting his return with the older 2 and discovered this street! No idea why it is as it is but we rather liked it.

So far so good - the golf resort we are on is ideal for what we need, the apartment is lovely, the breakfast is superb, the pool isn't overcrowded and we are 10-15 minutes from the centre of Alicante. Ideal.
