Careywood in her Winter garb at dusk

The sun is disappearing after a full day here. A prompt breakfast followed by donning my garden gear and hitching the garden trailer to the mower and heading across to the remaining roses in need of pruning. The spraying was postponed as a little drizzle threatened but a third of the lawns were "vacuumed" of winter tree rubbish including the leaves and seeds of our Australian resident, Grevillea Robusta. A beautiful tree but messy at this time of year. An afternoon begun by making roasted cauliflower soup and lamb casserole then I descended to the stitching cave for a few hours.
