Slug

A damp sort of day!

Straight down to Alnwick with MrM straight after work. After moaning and groaning for many several months about his painful knee, he was actually persuaded to take it to the GP last week. A blood test ensued, and today he had an appointment to have it X-rayed at Alnwick Infirmary. Results in a couple of weeks - hoping it's nothing too serious.

Stopped on the way back for a short walk by one of the lakes at Branton, and encountered several large black slugs on the path, including this one. 
Quite happy to see slugs in the wild - different story when they're chomping their way through the plants in our courtyard! (Apparently there are about 30 species of slugs in the UK, and an average UK garden is home to approx. 20,000...)

Home for a quick meal, then more work on the website and the associated 'tweeting' and 'facebooking'. May get to sit down and relax later...
