Flying on da Lifeboat

It's been a better than the forecast had it, a few showers in the morning.  Tonight is a different matter, the rain finally came in and been wet for most of the night.

With the overcast day, we've been busy in the museum.  We've had more boat trips and events for Boat Week.  There's also been two cruise ships in Lerwick, shame it's been an overcast day for them.  After tea, I headed back to Lerwick to see sister Julie and family, and showing some photos and films from cousin Caitlin's wedding. Quiet night at home now.

I met Julie and family for lunch today, and a lovely lunch at the Olive Tree.  On our way back, the Lerwick lifeboat was berthed for Boat Week at the museum.  I had to get back to work, but Julie and family went on board for a tour.  Here they are flying at the front, Ingram, Lottie, Julie and Anna.  Taken at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
