Rain stops play

It had been a really nice sunny day - till about 5pm. Then this happened.
A spectacular thunder and lightning storm sent the rain down to earth in buckets.

From our house windows you can see a cricket pitch on one side and a bowling green on the other. Both lots were sent running for cover. The bowlers didn't even have time to clear the bowls, thay had to send out a couple of club members in moon suits to retrieve them.
