We went to Buttermere today, although out route over was quite detoured - Newlands Valley was closed due to an accident (a cyclist was involved on a fatal accident) so we drove round via Whinlatter pass.

A wet end to an overcast day gave wonderful separation between the tree and Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks in the distance - the worse the weather got, the better the recession became. This was taken with a big stopper and a 0.6 Hard-edged ND grad, and shot as a multi-exposure of 10 25-second exposures, giving a total exposure time of 250 seconds.
