Soaked Again

This small hill burn was easy to step across earlier in the week. It was impossible today, it was so swollen after a period of sustained heavy rain.

Another smaller burn we had to hop across earlier this morning (and remaining dry) was impossible to cross on departure from the site. With feet already soaked there was no further discomfort to be endured by resorting to wading and over topping the boots.
