Light and Shadow on White

On an early walk in Portland this morning I chanced upon a delightful garden. One of the flowers was this white Japanese Anemone. There were other photos of these Anemone that were clearer, however, I was drawn to the light and shadow on these soft, white petals.

The extra is a closeup of a blue hydrangea. These flowers always remind me of my grandmother and the bush she had growing on the side of her house.
