Revelations

Emptying out cupboards I found a few old diaries. This is my Letts Schoolboy's Diary from 1973: A rather prosaic account of being a 13 year old obsessed with model aeroplanes and earning money to buy them with.
My best friend Loggy and I used to go caddying at Rothley golf course for about 60p a round - which probably equates to around a fiver in today's money. We knew f*** all about golf and cared even less. But if you had a bike you could get around - and the world was your oyster. We went miles on ours.
