We were up at 5 this morning to get Rachel on the plane on time. Lily wasn't quite sure whether to be upset or not. But Rach and I were distinctly jangled by it all. I'm chalking off the days. Felt very odd today as the weekend is very definitely family time and she was in the sky somewhere. She'll be on her second flight right now and likely jetlagged to hell and back.

Lily, rather pragmatically, told me to pretend it was Monday. Kid is a smart cookie.

So it's a Daddy and Lily week this week. See if we can't have some fun on the last week of summer hols.... :)
