Supper at your parent's friend's house

That's what our lunch in a random, remote, gorgeous little flower strewn garden felt like.

It was fantastic. Proper sandwiches filled with amazing home roasted ham and locally made cheese and tea in china cups. Really delicious. And lovely hosts :-)

Portmeirion in the afternoon. What a fantastically odd place. Totally weird and bizarre with an artist in residence living in an ivory tower. She's brilliant. She grinds down local stone and uses a whirlpool to make landscapes. Awesome!

Dinner at a brilliantly shambolic pub.
