Celebrity Silhouette

Berthed in the Inner Harbour the Celebrity Silhouette is the largest in terms of tonnage cruise ship to visit Lerwick. 122,120 gross tonnage and just over 1000 feet in length in can carry 2886 passengers and 1500 crew.

I often wonder what the visitors make of the place during a ten hour stay. Wonder why they are taking photos of a particular building which has no significance to us residents. Those I encountered seemed to be enjoying the walk to see the cliffs in Lerwick
