Forth Road Bridge 10k

I've not enjoyed running recently, I have had to force myself.  I wasn't sure about today.  I hadn't really run the distance to prepare and it's a hilly course.

In the end it went much better than expected.  I even felt really good when I finished - the first time I've felt good after a run in months.

I finished in 60:57 - just over an hour.  I expected to be at least 4 minutes slower than that.

Last night Mo Farah ran the same distance in 27 minutes 5 seconds for Olympic Gold - after recovering from being tripped up half way through.

That puts my run into perspective...
