No place I' d rather be

Spent the day at the NEC at the festival of quilts, had a lovely day looking at quilts and shopping (of course). I felt very proud when I saw our school seeing club quilt. We got highly commended which is fab. The competition was steep and seeing all the other entries made our recognition mean so much more.

In all I thought the show lacked something this year. A few big venders were not there and their absence was felt. Also the quilts and pieces of art did not have the wow factor . Having said that, there were some lovely new European vendors who had some lovely new ideas. In all a fab day
